The restaurant in Orlov – honest cooking, fire and modern gastronomy
A new restaurant is on its way! The restaurant at Resort Orlov is currently undergoing an extensive renovation, which will give it a completely new kitchen and welcoming spaces for our guests. We plan to complete the renovation and hold the grand opening in the first quarter of 2027.
In the heart of the Brdy hills, just a few minutes from Příbram, we are preparing a restaurant that will combine traditional Czech cooking with modern culinary techniques. Our aim is to serve honest food made from good, fresh and seasonal ingredients in a setting you will want to come back to.
Fire will play a major part in our kitchen. We will cook over an open fire, grill, smoke in a smoker and use modern techniques that bring out the natural flavour of each ingredient. We draw inspiration from Czech culinary traditions, which we love to present in a new way. We are not interested in experimenting for its own sake, but in bold flavours, quality ingredients and food with character.
The restaurant will be part of Resort Orlov, and its doors will be open not only to staying guests but to anyone who fancies good food, a coffee or a glass of wine. In summer we will offer seating on the outdoor terrace overlooking the resort, and on cooler days in the cosy dining room or on the glazed terrace.
From breakfast to an evening out
We want our restaurant to be lively all day long. Whether you drop by in the morning, during the day or in the evening, we always want to have something good for you. We are preparing a concept that will offer several kinds of dining experience.
- Breakfast and brunch – start the day with good coffee, fresh bread and pastries, breakfast classics and original dishes from our kitchen. We plan to serve breakfast to staying guests as well as visitors from the area.
- Lunch – honest Czech cooking with a modern touch, seasonal specialities and dishes prepared with an emphasis on flavour and quality.
- Dinner – room for more adventurous cooking, specialities from the open fire and smoker, slow-cooked meats and lighter dishes paired with carefully chosen wines.
- Coffee and something sweet – you do not have to come just for a meal. We will also be glad to welcome you for an afternoon coffee, a dessert or a drink with friends.
We are working hard on the menu right now. It will be shaped by the seasons, the availability of quality ingredients and, above all, the joy of good food. We will publish details of the menu and opening hours before the restaurant opens.
A place to stop for a while
Orlov will be more than just a restaurant. We want to create a place surrounded by the nature of the Brdy hills, where you can spend a pleasant afternoon, sit down with your family, meet friends or rest after a day out. A setting where good food blends naturally with the relaxed atmosphere of the whole resort.

Celebrations, gatherings and a stay in the Brdy hills
The new restaurant will also be a pleasant setting for family celebrations, get-togethers with friends or company events. We will be happy to discuss catering, a celebration menu or the arrangements for the whole event with you.
