Nový rybník, Příbram
A recreation area on the edge of Příbram for relaxing, walks and family activities, depending on the season.
The municipal aquapark is in Příbram, about 3.5 km from Orlov. It is a good choice for days when the weather is not right for a trip into the Brdy hills. There is a free car park by the building.
What you will find
The indoor pool measures 25 × 14.5 metres and has six swimming lanes. Children can enjoy the water slide and the turbo slide, while adults can relax in two whirlpools or the steam room. The youngest have a children's pool up to 70 cm deep with a water spout and a small slide. On the top floor there is a sauna with an outdoor plunge pool and a relaxation room with a wood-burning stove.
In summer the outdoor pool is open too. It measures 50 × 20 metres, has eight lanes, a paddling pool and a large lawn. The outdoor area has its own entrance and tickets and is not connected to the indoor aquapark.
Good to know
On weekday mornings the children's pool is used for swimming lessons. Children under one year old are not allowed in the pools or the sauna. The slides, sauna and individual pools have their own opening hours, which the operator sometimes changes for competitions or maintenance. Check which parts are open before your visit; current opening hours and prices are on the aquapark's website.
